Easter Sunday (aka Chocolate Day) 2017

Yet another year, yet another Easter Sunday, also known as The Day of Chocolate.

They had all picked out their eggs with Finnur a few days before.

Anna got “Engum er bót í annars böli.” or “Nobody is better off from another’s misfortune.”
Finnur got “Fiskur tekur beitu en öngull fisk.” or “A fish takes bait but a hook takes fish.”
Emma’s was from a different company. It said “Betra er ólofað en illa efnt.” or “Better is unpromised than badly fulfilled.”
Bjarki playing with “Fús er hver til fjárins.” or “Everybody’s happy to get sheep (or money?)”.
And finally, me (Hrefna) with “Margur gjörir verr en hann veit” og “Many do worse than they think.” :/
Now for a sudden change of scenery! As is customary, we went over to Finnur’s parents’ house for the annual Easter festival.
