Bjarki turns 4 years old!

Today it has been four years since Bjarki and Reynir were yanked into this world.  It doesn’t quite feel like it was yesterday, but it’s a little surprising to think that it was four whole years ago!

To mark the day, Bjarki got to open a present this morning.  We then brought ice-cream to daycare, and the teachers there made him a crown.  Since he seemed very adamant that there should be people and cake and singing after daycare was done, we invited my mom and my brothers for an impromptu birthday-bash (they’re usually available at very short notice!).  We’ll be hosting a second birthday-bash closer to the weekend (or on the weekend) for other close family and friends – except that we haven’t quite decided on the time and date yet!  (sorry, we’re terrible planners).

Anyway, the birthday boy seemed to enjoy his day, and completely overdosed on chocolate.  He is a total choco-holic!!
