Eurovision 2013
Three pictures from the day of the 2013 Eurovision final:
Bjarki waiting for his gymnastics coach to arrive. Yes, he did this all by himself! Preemie-smeemie! Meanwhile, Anna babysat a sleeping Emma while I dropped Bjarki off at the gym. Having babysitter-grade children is awesome! 🙂
We camped out at Guðrún’s and Snorri’s for the remainder of the day. Emma spent most of the day playing (she’s very busy figuring out her hands and the awesomeness of bringing something to her mouth), and only took a few short naps. Here are pictures of Anna with the same play-structure!
Watching the Eurovision final. We gave each song a score, and in our world Holland won. I dragged the kids home at 10 pm, after it became pretty apparent that Denmark would win. The kids were sad Iceland didn’t do better, and still sing the Icelandic song (with much feeling!) at random intervals.
