Haircut

I stupidly neglected to get a haircut before Emma was born, forgetting just how tricky it is to leave a newborn at a predetermined time. When Finnur was home, I planned on calling in to get a same-day appointment sometime in the afternoon while she was sleeping, but that just never happened. Finally, I realized that the hair salon I go to opens shortly after 8 am, so I got an early morning appointment, while Finnur minded Emma at home before heading to work. Here’s how I look now:

Front view. Finnur tells me I suck at capturing my own ‘essence’ on camera. I think I may have to practice!
Meanwhile, Emma keeps getting dumped on her playmat at random times during the day.
I bought these pants for Anna, here she is wearing them in 2004! (I have very few items of clothing left from when Anna was small, but a handful made their way back to us recently.)
UNHAPPY!!
Emma really enjoys this mobile still. If only it came with a battery and was operable via remote control! 🙂
