Anna Turns 9 Years Old!!!

Yes, it’s shocking, but true – Anna has just turned NINE years old!!!  Go here to read the story of her birth (WARNING: Some explicit images!  Kinda NSFW!)

She got to open her first presents in our bed (because we are lazy):

She also got some Monster High dolls from granddad and the rest of the England crew. She was pretty stoked. :)

Since then I’ve been working on making this chocolate cake (hmmm… I think it collapsed in the oven, darnit!) for a party at Finnur’s parents which begins shortly, which will also double as Anna’s birthday party for that half of the family.

p.s. Bjarki’s health improved dramatically yesterday, and he was basically fine.  The antihistamine and/or no longer taking the penicillin has apparently helped my blood pressure and it’s no longer as scary.  Finnur also says I’m back ‘to my normal self’.  So yay!
