Hot Tubbing and Tidying Up
[Written 10 August 2012]
The news that we had an operational hot tub spread, and Pétur and Signý came to take a look.

Poor Pétur didn’t get to go into the hot tub until he’d allowed me to cut his hair. It had just gotten ridiculously long, and he was waiting until school started to get it cut because they’re two broke students. As it happens, we were once also penniless students, so I got fairly good at cutting Finnur’s hair way-back-when.

Meanwhile, I put the finishing touches on the EPIC garage re-organization. It had all gone terribly wrong when the plumbers needed access to the left-side wall, and a bunch of stuff had ended up in our front-room. With much grit and stamina, Finnur and I attacked the misbehaving boxes and wrangled them to their proper places. Even the fridge got moved, so it’s less likely to be hidden by bikes. Note that the pile of stuff on the floor on the left is to be recycled, and that all the bikes are missing. (Also, we don’t have any Apple computers. Those are empty shipping boxes Finnur has forbidden me to throw away.)
