Emma’s not walking yet, although she’s started to occasionally let go while standing.<\/p>\n

Walking doesn’t seem to be a huge priority for her though – she’s mostly trying to get to the places we’ve cordoned off, via pushing furniture around and climbing<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Well, hello there phone. Can I get you? You’re a little high up. What if I put my toe there?… \u00a0(The phone got promptly moved onto the keyboard.)<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

\"Ooooh,<\/a>

Ooooh, change of plan. Mom has the camera out. Let’s go get it! (Notice that we’ve zip-tied the chair to the stairs. Yup, she figured out how to move the chair to open up a gap.)<\/p><\/div>\n

Whoa. That’s a bright flash you’ve got there!<\/p><\/div>\n

What do you mean I’m not supposed to push this chair to get to the stereo equipment?<\/p><\/div>\n

Up and down, up and down, up and down. All the while dragging teddy along for the ride. She really loves playing on those kiddie sunchairs!<\/p><\/div>\n

Honey, how<\/em> are your toes showing?<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Now,<\/a>

Now, I left Emma with Anna for 15 minutes, while I went to fetch Bjarki from after school care. When I got back Anna told me she’d tried to give Emma something to drink and it spilled all over her. So, naturally, Anna went and fetched new clothes for her little sister… from the costume<\/em> drawer!<\/p><\/div>\n

Life is awesome!!<\/p><\/div>\n

Let me move this chair a little closer to the table…<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Yes,<\/a>

Yes, this is good.<\/p><\/div>\n

Now, if there was only something interesting on top of this table, I’d be all over it! But no, you guys took it all. Tsk, tsk!<\/p><\/div>\n

I still don’t understand how she manages to not fall off the chair (very often) while maneuvering on top of it?!?!<\/p><\/div>\n

Now, here’s a little gap for you squeamish folks<\/strong><\/span>.<\/h2>\n

Below is a photo of a tooth missing from a gum.<\/strong>
\nIt’s just a red hole, where there should be a tooth.<\/p>\n

You’ve been warned. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

You see, Anna went to the orthodontist last December,
\nwho took an x-ray of her entire mouth area,
\nand noticed there was a toothy traffic jam on the upper right side.<\/p>\n

The proposed solution to the traffic jam was to
\nextract a baby tooth to make way for one of the adult teeth
\nto come down instead of being in the way of other adult teeth.<\/p>\n

So, to the dentist we went. \u00a0(Well, Finnur took her.)<\/p>\n

And after three shots of local anesthesia
\n(Anna seems to share my mouth-vein anatomy,
\nwhere nothing is where it should be!)
\nshe was finally fully numbed,
\nand the dentist gently nudged the tooth out.<\/p>\n

Anna’s verdict was that it was not as bad as she thought it was going to be.<\/p>\n

And she got ice cream.
\nWhich really fixes everything.<\/p>\n

Really.<\/p>\n

But so, yeah.<\/p>\n

I took a photo of the gap.<\/p>\n
