Emma woke up with a high fever this morning and stayed pretty comatose throughout the day. <\/p>\n
I took her to the doctor in the afternoon because she’d had a cold for a while before this, and sure enough she has a nasty ear infection, but also a nasty viral cough. <\/p>\n
The doctor decided to give her antibiotics, but she may have vomited a portion of the first dosage after I somewhat optimistically fed her some yogurt. <\/p>\n
Now that approaching midnight, she just got dosage number two, as well as some paracetamol because she still has a high fever and is very lethargic. <\/p>\n
She’s still breathing pretty rapidly, has a barking cough, and often seems to be on the verge of vomiting when she coughs (not because she coughs so much, but because she’s got a lot of mucus in her throat that she’s not really clearing) – so this is going to be a super fun night!
