Finnur didn’t actually take any time off for our little trip. \u00a0Instead, he boarded a train every workday morning, rode an hour to London, and worked out of one of the Google offices in London<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the rest of us did various things, such as visiting the local ice skating rink<\/a>\u00a0(9 images total, only 2 from ice rink).<\/p>\n

\"Siblings<\/a>

Siblings on skates. Anna did really well, and zoomed right off, while Bjarki was unhappy until we rented him a guide-penguin. Then he got a lot happier.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

Skating on ice! \u00a0Meanwhile, Emma got left behind with dad and Shirley.<\/p><\/div>\n

Back at dad’s, Emma had a great time watching laundry get laundered.<\/p><\/div>\n

Dad and Shirley then took the big kids to Toy’s R Us to let them pick their Christmas presents. Emma examined some firewood while they were gone.<\/p><\/div>\n

I want that camera!! \u00a0Note sideways coffee table, to protect the books.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"After<\/a>

After the epic shopping trip, I took the kids to the park again, this time in lovely weather.<\/p><\/div>\n

I naively thought this was Emma]s first time in a swing, but no, Anna’s taken her swinging before in Iceland apparently on some of their walks. \u00a0I don’t think they have these kinds of bucket swings here in Iceland though, so this may be her first solo-swinging! \u00a0She loved it by the way. \ud83d\ude42<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Bjarki's<\/a>

Bjarki’s gross motor skills have grown leaps and bounds since our visit almost two years ago. This time he had no problem speedily navigating the big castle\/climbing structure.<\/p><\/div>\n
