I continued my quest for a suitable dinner outfit that day, and found something not quite terrible at Fr\u00f6ken J\u00fal\u00eda – B\u00fa\u00f0 fyrir konur (Ms. Julia – A Store For Women) in the tiny Mj\u00f3dd shopping center. \u00a0Afterwards I patched my injured soul via sugar and caffeine: <\/p>\n

<\/a>Dinner itself was fun! We went to the Sakebarinn<\/a> for some sushi. \u00a0(Yes, that’s the top I got, mangled by my awkward posture as I tried to fit into the photo along with the food.<\/p><\/div>\n Better view of the 16 piece Deluxe Mix platter. Good stuff!<\/p><\/div>\n Some of the other gals. You can see one of the waitresses walk by. The service gets no awards, but the food was good.<\/p><\/div>\n Hj\u00f6rd\u00eds sat opposite me, and also got the Deluxe platter. And since this is Iceland, the group sitting just behind her on the left included a world famous Icelandic singer\/songwriter.
