This was a sleepy Thursday. \u00a0As in: the parents were sleepy, and the kids were antsy and bored. \u00a0So I handed Anna this What-to-do-with-children-in-the-city-area book<\/a> and told her to pick an activity. \u00a0She came up with a school playground we’d never visited, and Reykjavik’s Main Library<\/a>\u00a0(both relatively far away).<\/p>\n

When she handed me the book I looked at the next page and saw K\u00f3pavogur’s Main Library<\/a> and realized I’d NEVER BEEN THERE! \u00a0(And I loooooove libraries!) \u00a0This was extra pitiful because I biked past the library building almost every day on my way to work.<\/p>\n

So to the library we went. \u00a0And of course we discoverd that they have a pretty darn cool nature-museum on the first floor with tons of stuffed animals, cool rocks, and fish tanks. \u00a0(See photos, this post has 4 photos total.)<\/p>\n

The library is on three floors. The children’s section is on the third floor, and they have a nice couch there and this great reading hut.<\/p><\/div>\n
