Finnur walked Bjarki to school on his first school day. \u00a0Emma came along, while Anna stayed home with a fever, and Hrefna was giving a radar lecture<\/a> at the NordVulk Summer School<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bjarki by his cubbie, where he can store his clothes. The aftercare is right next to his classroom, so his clothes stay there the whole day, and we can even leave some outerwear there overnight.<\/p><\/div>\n

I totally forgot to take pictures at the Summer School, but later in the day I took this photo to show how far Emma’s started to venture off her playmat. Not long until she’ll be a total menace! \ud83d\ude42<\/p><\/div>\n

We won’t be sending Anna to the English school this year, it was too much bother for not a lot of return and considerable whining. So I’m going to try and coax her into working on her English at least once a week. We’ve got some nice workbooks<\/a> from Brain Quest<\/a>, and we’ll be using those to begin with.<\/p><\/div>\n

It so happened she’d chosen to work on the ‘Science’ chapter and the first page was all about the planets. \u00a0 Serendipitously, we’d just watched a video on them on YouTube the night before, so she was all excited.
