On 8 August,\u00a0four days short of being 6 months old, Emma \u00d3sk got her first tooth, the lower right front one. \u00a0Coincidentally, it was the same day I finally made the trek to the National Registry<\/a> with a signed piece of paper officially giving her her name.<\/p>\n

It took ten days for the next tooth to arrive, giving her two lower front teeth:<\/p>\n

The two lower front teeth. And yes, they’re already crooked!<\/p><\/div>\n

Then this past Thursday the third tooth broke through, this time the upper right next-to-the-front-teeth one. \u00a0Aaaand I think we can claim that its twin broke through today, upping the total number to four:<\/p>\n

Both next-to-the-upper-front-teeth teeth have broken through the skin, and I’m pretty sure one can see the front teeth hiding under the skin. \u00a0They’re certainly not far behind!<\/p><\/div>\n

We had a pretty quiet day today. \u00a0Anna seems to not have had strep because she was basically fever-free today, and will be going to school tomorrow (unless something happens tonight). \u00a0We still kept her indoors, much to her consternation.<\/p>\n

My cousin R\u00edkey dropped in with her two kids to while away the afternoon with us, and we made some waffles, and overdosed on carbohydrates in general. \u00a0The kids played nicely and Emma was mostly in fine spirits in spite of all the teeth. \u00a0I just hope she sleeps ok!<\/p>\n
