We have a collection of sand box toys, which have not really ever had a home, except in a pile in the garage, or in a big black plastic bag somewhere.<\/p>\n

Now that the city has refilled the playground sandbox (aka neighborhood kitty litter) with sand for the summer, these toys have gone back into use and started scattering everywhere. \u00a0 Just last night, a bunch of them ended up in our entryway (foyer, hallway, anddyri) which meant sand everywhere<\/em>. \u00a0(There’s been a lot of bedtime vacuuming lately!)<\/p>\n

So, this past week I went to Ikea, and bought a wooden outdoor box<\/a>, which I assembled today.<\/p>\n

It’ll start its life out in front of our house, in the hope that the kids will drop the toys in there on their way in.<\/p>\n

Box by our front door. \u00a0I’m thinking I may have to buy another one of these to have in the backyard, because there are always some \u00a0homeless toys floating around there too…<\/p><\/div>\n
