Bjarki missed out on trying to scale the climbing wall at the Spring Festival<\/a> the other day so I promised him he’d get to climb later.<\/p>\n

Today I fulfilled my promise and took the kids to the Climbing House (Klifurh\u00fasi\u00f0<\/a>, family hours 16-18 on Tuesdays and Thursdays this summer) after picking Bjarki up from daycare. \u00a0The kids ran around and did some climbing until fatigue set in and we headed back home.<\/p>\n

Anna wasn’t too thrilled by the experience (sore hands are a bummer), but Bjarki thought it was a lot of fun (he’s nothing but lean muscle) and wants to go back next week!<\/p>\n

This morning I took Anna to see her orthodontist, who decided to keep waiting-and-seeing to see what Anna’s teeth will do in the near future. \u00a0I used the opportunity to have her height measured, and Anna’s now 155.3 cm tall, or 5 ft 1 inch, which is way tall for a nine and a half year old. \u00a0My genes are so much fun! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
