Anna’s school formally ended instruction on June 5th, and will reconvene in late August sometime.<\/p>\n

It’s hard to articulate just how ready<\/em> I am for her to be on vacation! \u00a0It’ll be great to have no more homework (we basically gave up on having her read out loud in April sometime) and there’ll be a lot less morning stress now that she doesn’t have to be dressed and fed and out the door before 7:50.<\/p>\n

To celebrate, there was a Spring Festival at her school, and Bjarki’s adjacent daycare center. \u00a0Thankfully the weather behaved nicely, because the two days prior were nothing but wind and rain. \u00a0This has been a cold spring, and the summer is turning out to be a wet one so far.<\/p>\n
