Midwife just said: &#8216;Now we seem to be getting started&#8217;. Atmosphere getting a little bit more tense also.<\/p>\n<p>Update 16:09: Intensity slowly increasing. Hrefna still standing (feels better than sitting\/lying down). I&#8217;m still not angrily being blamed for the whole thing so we have some ways to go yet&#8230; \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Update 16:34: 4-5 in dilation. Epidural ordered.<\/p>\n<p>Update 16:46: Correction: Epidural requested but is still pending bloodwork results. Laughing gas administered to float her through. <\/p>\n<p>Update 16:48: Results in. Epidural ordered.<\/p>\n<p>Update 16:56: Epidural about to be administered.<\/p>\n<p>Update 17:00: Doctor asks: Do you want me to explain the procedure to y&#8230;<br \/>\nHrefna: No. Now! (and then chuckles)<\/p>\n<p>Update 17:20: Epidural administered. Salvation lies within (hopefully). Seems to be improving things a bit.<\/p>\n<p>Update 17:35: Spoke to soon. Epidural not working. Doctor upping the dosage.<\/p>\n<p>Update 17:39: Epidural not working as well as it should. \ud83d\ude41 Doctor offered another epidural but they&#8217;re hesitating because she might be starting to push. <\/p>\n<p>Update 17:41: Dilation 8-9. <\/p>\n<p>Update 17:46: Epidural dosages increased. To late for another one. We&#8217;re looking at the end run now.
