Just a quick update on where things stand now that Dec 23rd is drawing to a close:<\/p>\n
Bjarki slept throughout the day, but became somewhat coherent around dinner-time. \u00a0His stomach rebelled once (not terribly surprising given that all he’s had pretty much all day is Gatorade – he’s been too sleepy for much more than that) and he then ate a few pieces of dinner, which have so far, knock on wood, not made a\u00a0reappearance.<\/p>\n
I’ve basically been camped out in bed with him all day, except for an hour or two when I finished packing the remainder of the presents. \u00a0Maybe the R&R has done me good, but Finnur has just remarked that I don’t sound nearly as huffy and puffy as a couple of days ago, which has me wondering at any conceivable relationship between the rash and the blood pressure situation? \u00a0Who knows?!?!<\/p>\n
Which leaves Finnur and Anna, who will go down in our family history books as the people who ‘brought’ Christmas this year. \u00a0Yes, they went out and shopped for food and a tree, delivered packages, cleaned parts of the house, made and cleared away dinner, and then put up and decorated the tree! \u00a0Well done them! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
