This past Friday a grand old storm hit Iceland. \u00a0We had unusual amounts of wind, but thankfully no snow, rain or storm surges (the north got snowed in however). \u00a0Quite a few people in the city got blown over, and roofs were damaged. \u00a0Once the wind died down on Saturday, it had left our house and the car covered in a salty sheen. \u00a0This had the unhappy side-effect to make all the windows mostly opaque, which was a bit of a problem, especially on the car.<\/p>\n

Finnur was feeling energetic today, so he got out the high-pressure water sprayer and washed not only the car, but also the house!<\/p>\n

The kids played well together today, resisting my attempts to shoo them outside. Finally some neighborhood kids appeared outside, so I could kick them out to join them.<\/p><\/div>\n
