Back in June, Anna asked if she could go on a horse-riding course. \u00a0These things run in June and July, and are generally fully booked long in advance. \u00a0Lucky for us though, there were openings in July, so on 9 July Anna began her week-long course. \u00a0Right off the bat she looooooved it, so we quickly booked the next week too. \u00a0The course ran from 9am to noon, Mon through Fri, and was run by Viking Horses<\/a>, which happen to be located about 7 minutes away from us by car.<\/p>\n

On the last day, 20 July, Finnur went to pick her up, and arrived early enough to see her arrive on ‘her’ horse, Sproti (she had the same horse the whole time except for the first day). \u00a0Here are some pics:<\/p>\n

Once we got home, it dawned on Anna that this was the last time she’d (probably) see Sproti, and she broke down in sobbing tears. \u00a0She was literally devastated for the remainder of the day, poor thing. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n

Later that afternoon Bjarki caught me in my usual position, on the couch, with a laptop (in this case, a Chromebook<\/a>).<\/p><\/div>\n

I caught Bjarki by the window. Look at all that greenery!<\/p><\/div>\n

That evening Adda and Halli and kids came over for dinner. See that green thing hanging up on the wall? Yes, it’s ‘art’ by me! Taken when we were up north. And yes, the leftmost image needs to move a teeny bit more left. We’ll try and get it done before Christmas. \ud83d\ude42<\/p><\/div>\n
