Back when we lived in California, Finnur had three Icelandic work\u00a0colleagues\u00a0located in Canada. \u00a0One has now relocated to Iceland, another to Sweden, but the third has remained in Canada, and we generally refer to him as Canada-Siggi. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Canada-Siggi and his family were in Iceland this summer, and we invited them for dinner, because we hadn’t seen them in so many years! \u00a0(Past encounters here (2004 in Montreal)<\/a>,\u00a0here (2005 in CA)<\/a>,\u00a0here (2005 in CA)<\/a>,\u00a0here (2005 in CA)<\/a>,\u00a0and here (2006 in CA)<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

The camera came out way late, or just as they were about to head off.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

The two ‘little’ boys are now all (or mostly) grown up!<\/p><\/div>\n

Feeling nostalgic I decided to recreate this image<\/a> from way back when (see also below).<\/p><\/div>\n
