[Bjarki has started opening both his eyes. He took a peek at us today, but he obviously doesn’t have much control over his eyeballs and we don’t know if he can actually see very much at all. He’s been pretty stable so far, except that his bloodpressure was low enough that they decided to give him a second blood transfusion tonight. His blood-oxygen level also tends to take an occasional dip, but that could be because of a bad ventilator hose placement. They also confirmed that the “PDA”, i.e. hole in the heart, is still closed, and they upped the frequency of his milk intake.<\/p>\n
This morning Finnur and I went to a funeral home and set up a cremation for Reynir Hugi. It went fairly smoothly, the lady that talked to us was very nice and helpful. She brought in a few catalouges with urns, and we piced one made out of light wood. We can expect to pick up the urn in a week or so.<\/i>]<\/p>\n
