<\/a>Starting to empty out the kitchen. Trying to remember what foodstuffs had been left behind by others, and what was ours was a little tricky. \u00a0The dishwasher is hidden next to the sink.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

<\/a>Then I looked out the window and caught the kids throwing (and then wiping off) dried earth at the car. I may have given them an earful.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/a>These are common in Iceland, and must be treated with the utmost caution: Single lane bridges. This one was special though because it was shaped much like an inverted V, so we always drove up on it at some speed to enjoy the roller-coaster like fall on the other side.<\/p><\/div>\n
<\/a>Since the kids had mostly behaved themselves while we were cleaning (by staying far away), we treated them to a visit to the Christmas House (J\u00f3lah\u00fasi\u00f0).<\/p><\/div>\n
