[I was in charge of visiting Bjarki this weekend in Hrefna’s absense, who is in self-imposed exile due to the cold that has been going around. I had also been away, with something in my lungs so I hadn’t seen him in a while. But, it was good to show up again and see that he had grown and seemed to be doing well. He is, for example, fast reaching the same milk intake he was on before the infection (he’s on 17ml per feeding now and will reach 19ml tonight) and the nurse was happy with the progress. She said he was one of two premies on the ward that do extremely well when held and he seems to benefit from it. I managed to hold him yesterday and he slept nice and sound on my chest for a little less than an hour.<\/p>\n
The weekend went by pretty quickly; Anna finally got to visit her friend Ruby at daycare but she has been begging us for it for a while but somehow it never got done. The two of them got along quite nicely, as they do in daycare. Today we visited Arnar and Solveig in Los Altos where Anna played in the sun in a wading pool with the other kids as Sigga, Edda and Gummi and the new kids on the block, Hulda and Gummi, also showed up with their kids.<\/i>]<\/p>\n
