We had a mini-California reunion today, and met up with the Gu\u00f0r\u00fans and the Elsas at \u00c1lafosskvos<\/a>. \u00a0None of us had been there, so we didn’t quite know what to expect, but it was pretty\u00a0idyllic, with a ‘monkey swing’, a slide, and a little coffee-shop.<\/p>\n

Once we’d had enough of the fresh air, we ambled to the nearby coffee-house<\/a>, and managed to score a table for thirteen.<\/p><\/div>\n

The kids all got chocolate cake, while the adults got ‘open sandwiches’. Good stuff! \ud83d\ude42<\/p><\/div>\n

After a bit of grocery shopping we arrived home to marvel at our new house-sign. We got this made to order the other day to match the sign on the other side of our duplex (semi-detached), and Finnur-the-handy-man installed it earlier today. Apparently there used to be a sign there, but the first owners removed it when they moved, and installed it at their summer house!<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
