[A quiet weekend is drawing to a close. Finnur went to hold Bjarki both days, but now around lunchtime. So far Bjarki’s still on the nasal cannula and the doc said that if he stays on the cannula (and nothing unexpected comes up), then he might be transferred “down” to the intermediate nursery this week, to join the ranks of the “feeders and growers”. So we’re crossing our fingers and hoping all goes well.<\/p>\n

Not a lot happened this weekend really. Saturday brought Anna’s weekly swimming lesson and then we had Trudy and her son Kevin over for dinner. They brought over a ridiculously yummy Chocolate Zucchini Cake, i.e. a chocolate cake sprinkled with tiny green bits so that it could pretend to be healthy (“I’ve got fiber!!” \ud83d\ude42 .<\/p>\n

It was also quiet today. The biggest adventure was an afternoon party in a nearby park to say goodbye to Norah and family that are moving to the other coast. We’ll miss them! This is the second good friend of Anna’s to move far far away this summer, but so far she’s taken it quite matter-of-factly. I don’t think she quite understands what’s going on, and thinks that surely one day everyone will just show up!<\/i>]<\/p>\n
