<\/a>After the kids were asleep, we played a few games, including this Home-Made Settlers of Catan. Yes, I kid you not, Finnur's sisters made their own Settlers of Catan complete with wooden roads and all! I'll admit that playing it was a wee bit confusing though...!<\/p><\/div>\n
<\/a>The Gu\u00f0r\u00fans left early the next morning to catch the Independence Day festivities in the city. We on the other hand didn't leave until well past noon and completely missed all festivities. Oh well, maybe next year...<\/p><\/div>\n

Finnur and his four siblings inherited a summer house by Laugarvatn from their grandfather. \u00a0Each sibling gets every fifth week (swaps allowed) and this weekend was ours. \u00a0We invited Gu\u00f0r\u00fan and Snorri to tag along, and in return they kindly agreed to ferry a couple of huge boxes containing a large trampoline in their jeep.<\/p>\n
