[Bjarki’s 7 weeks old today, or 33 weeks or minus seven. He’s still “desatting” and apparently low on some nutrients so they decided to reduce the breastmilk volume a bit and fortify it with formula. They suspect he might be suffering from reflux from his stomach, so less volume might mean less reflux. To test how much reflux he has, they also ordered a 24 hour ph-study of the area just above the stomach. The hospital only has two ph-study machines, so it might not happen until after the weekend.<\/p>\n
In other news I decided to stop using the steroid inhaler, since I think the steroids were making me depressed. I’m still coughing occasionally though, but less and less every day. Maybe I’ll be ok next week?! To do something “different” we went to see the new Bourne Ultimatum movie with Augusto and Todd, while Sarah (who doesn’t like violent movies) babysat Anna. The movie was ok, quite shaky and mostly just a big chase.<\/i>]<\/p>\n
