[I went to the hospital today for the first time in three weeks. THREE WEEKS!! Well, I did peak in for 10 minutes last Monday with a mask but only saw Bjarki’s nose since he was facing the wall and I didn’t want to touch him. So today I probably went a little overboard and exhausted the little guy. I put him to the breast for the first time which of course didn’t really work since he doesn’t yet know how to suck, swallow AND breathe. His mouth is also kinda tiny, so for now this counts as “recreational breastfeeding” as opposed to the “nutritional” kind. Anyway, I held him a few times today and hopefully it won’t take too long to get reacquainted.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the gang of Finnur, Anna, Steinunn and Einar went to the city to see the Golden Gate bridge, the sea-lions of Pier 39, drive around the steep streets and visit the Exploratorium. A good time was had by all!<\/i>]<\/p>\n
