Monday was beautiful like all the other days in California in late-May. \u00a0After all the weekend-activities, we mostly lay low and didn’t even leave Mountain View! \u00a0Anna picked lemons from Sarah and Augusto’s lemon tree, we made some too-sweet-lemonade, I got my eyes measured so that I could buy contacts, I took the kids to yet another familiar park, we then went to Whole Foods (this time beginning at the bakery), and then ended the day at Ivan and Margo Linscott’s. \u00a0(Ivan Ph.D. advised Sarah and me. \u00a0Examples of previous dinners at their house: 1<\/a>, 2<\/a>, 3<\/a>\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42 ).<\/p>\n

The kids sliding on one of two concrete slides I know of in the area. Sadly there were no cardboard pieces around, so they had to stop before their pants tore up too badly.<\/p><\/div>\n

Fun water feature. I didn't know Rengstorff Park had such a thing. Btw, we never ever had the good sense to visit the pool that's visible in the background. Tsk, tsk!<\/p><\/div>\n

Dinner was excellent! It was my first time ever (that I know of) getting baked squash.<\/p><\/div>\n
