[Just called the NICU before going to bed and it turns our Bjarki had his preemie MRI exam at 10pm. The nurse figured they’d know tomorrow if the pictures came out ok (i.e. not fuzzy due to movement) and they might even have some results. Who knows!<\/p>\n
We’re still stuck in the NICU. Turns out the intermediate nursery is only partially closed. There are two rooms, and the smaller one is currently closed. The tricky part is that the larger one needs to be emptied out so that they can move to the smaller room when that’s done, so quite a few babies need to graduate before Bjarki can move downstairs.<\/p>\n
Quiet day today really. Met a lactation consultant at noon and we had a fairly good discussion regarding breastfeeding Bjarki. He was really awake and alert around lunchtime and took a fairly long time to fall asleep, but once he did, he was pretty much out for the day! We then had Norah’s mom over for dinner. They moved to the East Coast in August, but she’s is in the area due to her work. It was great seeing her again, and good to hear that things are going well.<\/i>]<\/p>\n

Bjarki var vel vakandi \u00ed h\u00e1deginu og \u00e6tla\u00f0i aldrei a\u00f0 sofna eftir matinn! En \u00feegar hann loksins sofna\u00f0i \u00fe\u00e1 var hann svo gott sem rota\u00f0ur \u00fea\u00f0 sem eftir lif\u00f0i dags.
