Uppf\u00e6rsla 24. sept: Laga\u00f0i stafsetningarvillur.<\/p>\n

[The events of today were as follows: Finnur disassembled Anna’s “little” bed in our bedroom and we replaced it with her old crib. Anna wanted to know why he wouldn’t be in her room, and we told her he’d wake her up at night. When I arrived at the hospital today the docs informed me that they were happy enough with Bjarki’s eating to try him on an “ad lib” feeding schedule, i.e. they’ll wait for him to signal that he’s hungry and then feed on demand. He has a minimum amount of milk he needs to eat every x hours, but that’s about it. The big test is to see if he consistently gains weight or not over the next couple of days.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Finnur and Anna went on a bike tour to Izzy’s bagels and the farmer’s market on California Avenue. After Anna’s nap, we all went to a BBQ with some Icelanders in the area. Around 9pm Finnur went to the hospital and fed Bjarki while I got stuck watching “When Harry met Sally” on tv. That movie still sucks me in, even though I chuckle at the fashion from way back then… \ud83d\ude42<\/i>]<\/p>\n

Fyrst \u00feurfti Finnur reyndar a\u00f0 taka \u00ed sundur litla r\u00fami\u00f0 hennar \u00d6nnu en \u00fea\u00f0 gekk \u00e1fallalaust. H\u00fan vildi reyndar vita af hverju hann myndi ekki vera \u00ed hennar herbergi, en vi\u00f0 s\u00f6g\u00f0um henni a\u00f0 hann myndi vekja hana \u00e1 n\u00e6turna, pl\u00fas \u00fea\u00f0 a\u00f0 \u00fea\u00f0 er ekkert pl\u00e1ss eftir inni \u00ed hennar herbergi. <\/p>\n

Eftir l\u00farinn f\u00f3rum vi\u00f0 svo \u00f6ll \u00ed grillveislu til \u00cdslendinga \u00e1 sv\u00e6\u00f0inu. Um kv\u00f6ldi\u00f0 f\u00f3r svo Finnur upp \u00e1 sp\u00edtala \u00e1 me\u00f0an a\u00f0 \u00e9g festist yfir “\u00deegar Harry hitti Sally” \u00ed sj\u00f3nvarpinu. Alveg merkilegt hva\u00f0 ma\u00f0ur l\u00edmist yfir \u00feeirri mynd \u00fer\u00e1tt fyrir st\u00f3rkostlega hall\u00e6rislegan kl\u00e6\u00f0abur\u00f0… \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
