<\/a>Next we picked up our HUUUGE rental minivan. It was fun to play with it for a while. \ud83d\ude42<\/p><\/div>\n
<\/a>Having secured a car, I next took Bjarki to Whooooole Foooooods, which is in the top three of 'Things I miss about California'. He wasn't terribly impressed though, even though he got to sample some yummy fruit. Once we were done shopping I remembered that the 'correct' order to tackle this store is to start at the bakery to get some freshly sliced bread, then move on to the dairy and meats, while feeding said bread to child, and then finish with the fruits and veggie section.<\/p><\/div>\n
<\/a>"I don't care there are ten types of apples for sale here... I'm boooored... and huuungry!"<\/p><\/div>\n
<\/a>"Stop taking picture so we can get the heck out of here!!! This shopping thing is agony!"<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/a>After lunch, I took the kids to Mitchell Park, which has a cool water feature. It also sports this funky overbuilt sandbox. Those are some neat holes! \ud83d\ude42<\/p><\/div>\n

We landed at San Jose airport late Thursday evening, after a quick stopover in Seattle. \u00a0We are incredibly fortunate in that we still have many friends in the Bay Area, and were super-fortunate in that Sarah and Augusto agreed to house us for the duration of our stay. \u00a0Thankfully, Augusto also agreed to pick us up at the airport, which was very much appreciated after a looong journey! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
