Way back when<\/a>, Holla and \u00d3li invited us and some other good friends over to make\u00a0confectionery (fancy chocolate bits) on 23 December, aka the Day Before Christmas, where tradition dictates that one should eat really really<\/em> stinky fish for dinner. \u00a0This past Christmas, we were all set to return the favor, when a stomach bug stopped our plans. \u00a0Thankfully, the ingredients were all fairly non-perishable, so we waited until things had started to quiet down after the holidays, and summoned Holla & \u00d3li and Adda & Halli over for some chocolate-fiddling in the beginning of February instead.<\/p>\n

We didn't bother to temper the chocolate, we figured it would get eaten too fast anyway. Instead we just melted it and then popped stuff in the fridge. And, oh yes, European fridges are crazy small\/skinny!<\/p><\/div>\n

The kids getting served dinner. We occasionally feed the kids first so that the adults can have a more civilized dinner experience afterwards. It works like a charm!<\/p><\/div>\n
