[Photos taken 11 – 12 August 2025, posted online <\/em>26 September 2026? Life is getting more routine-ish again, phew!<\/em>]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After assembling the sleeper-sofa, we decided to play tourists, and visit the nearby (30-ish minute drive) Kronborg Castle<\/a>! Thankfully, it wasn’t my first rodeo with this particular type. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the marina in Helsing\u00f8r<\/a>, we were pleasantly surprised by the enormous food hall<\/a>, which surprised us all. The castle<\/a> (of Hamlet<\/a> fame) was big, impressive, and well maintained. There were a lot of sore feet by the end of the day! The “in-laws” were back in Lyngby<\/a> by then and we had dinner together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following day was a slow shopping day in downtown Lyngby, before I drove to the airport in the evening to pick up Finnur and Bjarki, who had then finished his summer semester finals (and passed!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before arriving at Helsing\u00f8r, we assembled the sofa!

Fully assembled and boxes cleared at 13:38! (That’s about an hour and a half…) It was a snug fit, but it fit! We were happy that the cardboard recycling bins outside had some free space.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

We arrived in Helsing\u00f8r around tea-time.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n
\"\"<\/a>
We were all a bit hungry, saw signs for food, and entered, not expecting much at all.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n
\"\"<\/a>
The food hall was huge, and wildly colorful!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

Of course, there was a bit of a walk to the actual castle entrance. It had an impressive moat!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
