Frisbee disc golf was so much fun on our ladies trip, that I dragged Emma, and sometimes Anna, out to play with me for four straight days on four different courses<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We did managed to celebrate Finnur’s birthday (although he kind of would prefer that we didn’t), but mostly we just relaxed and gathered strength for the next big thing, which was Anna’s move to Denmark to start her masters degree program at DTU<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday 28 July 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n

Late lunch that day was a home-made bagel with some eggs, cheese, and cucumbers.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

Was sad to find that the free gift wrapping paper in the local mall is now just the black and white logo of said mall.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

Emma and myself made it to the disc golf course<\/a> at 21 (9) in the evening.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

Just before dinner, Emma and myself visited the disc golf course one hill-ish over<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

It looked like the first basket had been removed…?!?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

We got a little confused by which basket belonged to which launch-pad, but this one through the tree-tunnel was pretty self-evident.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

The poor Jaguar kept having issues, and yet again it landed at the dealers for some repair. We will never buy another Jaguar, that’s for sure…<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

It was officially less than a week before Anna would be moving to Denmark for her master’s studies. We decided to gift her a bag so that she could start packing for real.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

I’m the kind of person that sends an email to the gym about a leaning plate-rack, whose wheel is about to break off.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

Emma badgered me into installing a mirror we’d picked up at Ikea.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

The fourth disc golf course in as many days!! This time in Fossvogsdalur<\/a>, the valley one valley over from our house.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

This was probably the most monotonous of the courses we tried. It basically goes along the valley floor by, and occasionally across, the valley stream.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
