[Photos taken 22 – 23 March 2025, posted online 22 December 2025. My Christmas present to myself is a two week vacation over the holidays, yay!<\/em>]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seemingly having lost the ability to sleep in, I woke up bright and early on our mornings in Tenerife, hauled myself out of bed, and attempted to claim three Bali-beds in the fancy balcony-section. Then it was on to breakfast, followed by some serious lounging!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first full day was pretty quiet, but on the second full day we acquired a mobility scooter, and went adventuring. We had a lot of fun walking northwards to La Caleta, and then I decided to jog back, which went well most of the way until my Achilles tendon suddenly had enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The breakfast buffet was very nice!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

As a fancy-club member we had access to the snack and drinks bar which was open pretty much the whole day. The frappuccino-machine output was particularly dangerously delicious!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

I went on a short walk southwards to poke my toes into the ocean.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

I headed for that sheltered beach.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

The ocean there isn’t exactly super clear or blue, but neither is it very cold.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

I found a spot a little further south where I could dry out my feet, while enjoying the sea playing on the rocks, and reading a book.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

\n

Heading to the market to buy a few things.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

We had a little photo game going to find the number 34.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

Finnur’s heel had been seriously bothering him for the better part of a year, so he was glad to rest it a bit on the scooter once in a while.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
