[Photos taken 01 – 07 November 2024, posted online 09 March 2025. Bright sunny-but-chilly weather outside. The days have gotten longer, it’s now bright outside when we leave the house in the mornings, and well past dinnertime.<\/em> ]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It started getting chilly in November, which meant feeding the wild birds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were two birthday parties in one weekend, that week I gymmed, gamed, and walked in the forest a lot, also knitted a headband, gave a car some love, before getting on an airplane to London on a Thursday, to see a show there the following evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fridays tend to be leg-days… This one was a collection of squats, hamstring-curls, calf-raises, heavy front-lunges, single-leg deadlifts, hip-thrusters, and sled-pushing. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

In a moment of weakness, I caved an purchased two gym-tops from a business (oldladygains) I follow on Instagram<\/a>, because they’re very good at collecting cool videos of older mostly regular-looking women working out.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

The annual ritual of putting up the yule-lights, as the mornings had gotten quite dark.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

Emma picked a free recipe off of the internet. While I knitted away, Anna hunkered down with school-buddies to work on some group assignment.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

All done! Took about 4 hours.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

I was too tired to read up on the proper way of fastening the ends together, so the join was a bit meh. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
