\u00de\u00f3ra and Anna by our car, as we are about to go visit a couple of farms.<\/p><\/div>\n

We arrived in\/by Akureyri (they live 10 minutes south of Akureyri) with no plans at all. \u00a0After ‘putting our heads into water’ (Icelandic saying for ‘thinking about it’) we came up with the brilliant plan of visiting a couple of farms 4 minutes away northwards that belong to relatives of Kata. \u00a0The reason: it’s the season for ‘baby’ animals!<\/p>\n

On farm #2, where this lovely cow has just pooped, much to the amazement of the city kids.<\/p><\/div>\n

The main reason for our visit though were these very new lambs, some less than 24 hours old. Awwww... <\/p><\/div>\n

After leaving the barn, we headed to the main house where a feast was waiting.<\/p><\/div>\n

Here's my attempt at capturing the jaw-dropping view from the kitchen window. Also, I might have to visit again just to taste The Best Milk Ever! I think I must have had 5 glasses of milk, it was just so amazingly delicious! \ud83d\ude42<\/p><\/div>\n

... potatoes are stored. Yum! \ud83d\ude42<\/p><\/div>\n

Back at base, it was soon time for a lovely dinner. Also staying with Kata and J\u00f3i was a foreign exchange student who needed a place to stay while her dormatory was closed for Easter. She was a little baffled at how all these people would fit into the house - but we did! \ud83d\ude42<\/p><\/div>\n
