Easter day was a classic one. The kids got their chocolate eggs at home, and then we headed over to Finnur’s parents’ place for Easter eats, and social whist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday 10 April (Annar \u00ed p\u00e1skum)<\/h2>\n\n\n

The Monday following Easter Sunday is a public holiday in Iceland. I started the day at a cafe to get my bearings.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n
\"\"<\/a>
Emma had requested lights inside her little storage cubby in the art corner under the stairs. They made seeing what was there much easier.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n
\"\"<\/a>

It was clearly spring time! Prime time to build Ikea furniture!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

A small windbreaker installed. That corner is still “unresolved”.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n

Apparently I was bursting with energy, because I also went out on a jog?!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Tuesday 11 April 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n

I did two years of being on the parental association committee at school. That evening we got a fantastic speaker in, and great parental attendance.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
\n
\"\"<\/a>
Bjarki and I ended the evening hanging out at the ER, as he’d gotten his nose headbanged at parkour practice. A kind nurse came an talked to us an hour into the wait, letting us know that nothing would be done until the swelling had gone down, and to make an appointment in 7-10 days for an evaluation. The evaluation came back as ‘he fine’, aka he got lucky.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
