I had accepted a new job, that would be starting on 01 November. I therefore had a month to Do. All. The. Things. The first thing on the agenda was getting a new computer (as my old one kept flaking out), and attending a birthday party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I decided I needed an “adult” laptop side-bag, as my fabric one was falling to pieces, and my family was a bit tired of the tourist-like various back-pack variations. I confessed to a friend that I was exploding from anxiety over wanting to Do. All. The. Things. but not getting anything done because it seemed overwhelming, I kept forgetting things, and I was exploding from anxiety. She told me to go to a certain store, to buy a certain Dot Gridded notebook, and a certain type of pen, and write stuff down.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

I dropped Bjarki’s laptop off for repairs, it had stopped charging reliably. Turns out the charging circuit soldering had broken, and they needed to order in a new piece.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

I knitted a little table cloth from one of the yarns that I untangled from the big pile of tangled yarn.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

Drove with these lovely ladies to Borgarnes for dinner, and then to the summer house for a cozy overnight-stay.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

We’d decided this trampoline would be taken down and replaced the following summer, so I removed the surrounding circle and safety net to prevent it flying away, but left the rest.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

Brunch being prepared. We packed up and headed to town, where a birthday party awaited.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

I’m a convert to remote controlled light-bulbs. Yes, they are crazy expensive, but worth their weight in gold as I can control them while lying in bed, without getting out of bed!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

Being somewhat concerned seeing just how hot halogen lights get. Most of these had stopped working, or worked intermittedly. Lucky me had managed to find an electrician that would arrive two days later to fix this, and a myriad of other small problems.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

Ugh. Not loving the blackened wood.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

I pestered the owner of this camper to move it a bit, as it was taking up a precious 1 and a half parking space.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n

Sorry, not sorry, but it seems like one should occasionally remove the toilet seat in its entirety and clean where you usually can’t.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n
