I have come to the conclusion that not teaching on Mondays is very good for my mental health. \u00a0It makes the weekend so much more enjoyable since I don’t have to worry about Monday’s lecture – and then spend between 9pm on Sunday and 3am Monday actually writing said lecture. \u00a0(Which is one reason why I’m already dreading the 5 weeks starting in mid-March where I’m supposed to be teaching two classes\u00a0simultaneously… the new class is taught on Mondays. \u00a0#Shudders#)<\/p>\n
Anyway, today was a busy day for all of us! \u00a0We began by dropping Anna off at Eyr\u00fan’s place for a little ‘girl-bonding-time’ while the rest of us headed to Finnur’s parents’ place. \u00a0We left Bjarki there to go look at a nearby house, which was quite cosy, but the layout probably suits families with slightly older children better. \u00a0We made a quick pit-stop at Finnur’s parents’ place again, before heading out to examine a second house. \u00a0This house was more\u00a0spacious and in much better shape (the new owners had put in quite a lot of work) but in a neighborhood where we don’t know anybody. \u00a0Finnur liked the second house quite a bit, I was more ambivalent.<\/p>\n
