[Photos taken 18 – 23 December 2021, posted online 24 April 2022. Attended a 25 year (1+covid year) reunion last night and am sincerely hoping I didn’t make too much of a fool of myself.<\/em>]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of some weird compulsion, the annual photo-shoot of the kids happened again. This time I experimented with a light from below, with mixed results. As usual, patience ran thin with some (most) of the participants, but a few decent images emerged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gift distribution was made super easy by birthday parties in both our families, I managed to keep gymming, the tree got decorated, and the annual ginger bread baking took place just in time for Christmas. (40-ish images total)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday 20 December 2021<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bjarki happily engrossed in his screen-thingy, finally on Christmas vacation!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Yet another negative home-test, this time before attending a sewing club. No fun getting covid just before Christmas!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The sewing club was within walking distance, and on the way back, a rarely seen thick fog had descended.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Gym time! Felt a bit naughty with all the covid-talk.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

At home, Bjarki helped Finnur fasten the Christmas tree in the stand.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, covid restrictions got tightened a bit, so the comedy show we’d booked for 27 December got moved to February (and then again to April!).<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday 22 December 2021<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Anna and Emma decorated the tree!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Myself and Bjarki drove to the west end of town to restock Manga books, as my two brothers have shelves of the stuff.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The ground started shaking again close to the eruption site (that had stopped a few months prior) but nothing really became of this shake-series.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Thursday 23 December 2021<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It was gingerbread time!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

As is now almost a tradition, we roped Holla and \u00d3li into attending.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
