Finnur’s parents have always hosted an Easter Day feast, but this year they spent the day in self-isolation. We therefore spent the day at home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To lighten the mood, Finnur made an egg treasure-hunt for the kids, and then he hosted a social-whist tournament of sorts online for his side of the family. The day ended with us overdosed on chocolates, and stuffed after a fancy meal (40-ish images total)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Easter Sunday 12 April 2020 <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Monday 13 April 2020<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It was my last day of vacation (Easter Monday is a public holiday in Iceland), so I went walkabouting. Emma met me when I arrived home.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We played the kiddie-version of Settlers of Catan. It’s nice and mostly harmless.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
One of my spring-to-do tasks was ordering new blinds. Did I do it? Nooooo… Maybe this coming winter… At least I’ve taken it down now.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Emma got a hold of the camera and documented things that matter to her. I think it was around this time when the kids began going outside to play football with other kids in the neighborhood. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
