[Photos taken 01 – 11 February 2020, posted online 30 July 2020. Covid-19 is rearing its ugly head again, and authorities have just announced increased restrictions as of tomorrow.<\/em>]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

February began with snow, and then trended towards spring. We did manage to use a sled, go bowling, attend a birthday party, let Emma try taekwondo, get Emma’s hair cut, attend an IT show downtown, and gather gifts for Emma’s upcoming birthday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Underneath it all, the Covid-19 wardrums began pounding, but they were still far away. (45-ish images total)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday 01 February 2020<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The weather was cold but lovely, so I took Emma out sledding for a bit to get her out of the house.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

On this fair day, I had something specific, complicated, and convoluted that I wanted to code, so I eloped from my usual office space to a ‘library’ space. It took me a silly long time to realize I was killing my shoulders, so some random books provided a welcomed lift.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Wednesdays are meat days at work. We even had a guest cook that day!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

A taekwondo trainer stopped by Emma’s class and invited the whole year to attend a practice. She’s the one in the pink shirt. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I ventured out to a cafe to blog a bit, and stumbled upon these optimistic plants peeking out of the ground, as hail fell down on them. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
