We drove north from Reykjav\u00edk shortly after noon on a Wednesday towards \u00d3lafsv\u00edk on the Sn\u00e6fellsnes<\/a>-peninsula. Sn\u00e6fellsnes is the home of Sn\u00e6fellsj\u00f6kull<\/a>, the glacier of the snowy-mount-peninsula, a.k.a. the entrance to the center of the Earth<\/a>. \u00a0Trailing us were Adda and Halli hauling a tent-trailer.<\/p>\n

Leaving the capital. It was raining ever so slightly.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

Adda and Halli hauled this little baby all the way from the capital.<\/p><\/div>\n

Halli starts elevating the top while the children look on.<\/p><\/div>\n

Finnur by the fully extended tent-house\/caravan\/temporary-house thingamajig.<\/p><\/div>\n

Once we settled the girls took the kids to a nearby playground, while the boys made manly BBQed dinner. Later that evening we left Finnur and Bjarki to fall asleep and walked down towards the sea.<\/p><\/div>\n

Time for bed. All the kids, except Bjarki, slept in the tent-house.<\/p><\/div>\n
