Lo and behold, somehow it was Bjarki’s 12th birthday!! He opened presents in the morning, and then Anna had very kindly baked a cake for him to take to horse camp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following weekend was calm-ish, with Anna going all out making macaroons from scratch, and myself and Emma visiting the farm-animal-and-family-park yet again. (20-ish images)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think I may have been chasing something gps-game-related, and found a very nice hilltop in K\u00f3pavogur I’d never visited before.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I’ve sort of copied the kids’ computer time on Saturday and Sunday mornings, except my computer time happens far away from anybody that might shout “mom” my way. There is a cafe lurking on the left there.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Wanting to do ‘something’ Emma and I again ended up at the farm animal and family park in the later afternoon. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The park was super busy all summer, as the weather kept being rather great.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
At long last the pond had been filled with water, and the pull-floater was back in action! We hung out in the sandpit for a bit, but then ominous clouds appeared so we didn’t stay long.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
