[Photos taken 06 – 15 June 2019, posted online 12 January 2020. It’s been a over a week of storms, they just keep coming, with wind\/rain\/snow.<\/em>]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We kept having crazy fantastic weather, with barely a drop of rain. It was very conductive to walks and staining wood, and there’s So. Much. Wood. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bjarki competed at a gymnastics meet, dinner was outsourced, we visited the farm animal & family park, the guest-house at house #2 got some attention, and Anna prepared starting her first ever summer job (45-ish images total).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At 8 am, in the next town over (10 minute drive), about to watch Bjarki compete with his team in group gymnastics.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

These meets always begin with a long warm-up period, where one team gets to go through their routine on each of the three disciplines.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

That night I began staining the front-side fences, which are a huge pain in the butt to stain. Each side takes about half an hour to complete with all the fancy stuff going on. Thankfully, podcasts came to my rescue.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The day before we’d bought floor material for the guest house we were finishing at house #2. Seeing that it was actually nearing completion, I ventured to Ikea to buy a bed, and hired a fully electric van from them to take it home. Also, do you see the RAIN!?! It didn’t last long.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
