The weather forecast was good (surprise!) so we decided to spend the day at a water park. We apparently picked a good day since according to one of the guards, there were about 5000 people in the park that day, but they can go up to 18000 or so, and then it’s quite full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day after that was designated “shopping day”. This meant Finnur got to entertain the younger ones, while the rest of us walked around an outlet mall for an entire day. Eeeek! (20 images total)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This long “lazy river” was Emma’s favorite, we went many many circles around it. I wandered around with her to other parts of the park, but didn’t generally have my phone with me, so there are next to no photos from this day.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The road we drove to get to pretty much every interesting place was littered with attention grabbing gift shops like this one.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We didn’t find a whole lot of stuff worth buying, but a few things got picked up.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Bizarrely, Adda’s older sister happened to be in the area on a work-trip, and she stayed with us one night and went shopping with us before hopping on a plane back to Iceland.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
