As I look back on it, these 8 days of November were kind of crazy busy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We went to the theater, went ice-skating, homework was a thing, teeth got adjusted, a sewing club was hosted, my dad & Co came for dinner, I lifted, Bjarki competed (and won!) in gymnastics, Finnur took off for the UK (with dad & Co), and I assembled Ikea furniture for my brother & Co. Yikes! (28 images total)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunday 11 November 2018<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We had a fairly busy Sunday. The employee association at my workplace sold discounted tickets to Ronja the Robber’s Daughter, and all of us went. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
\"\"

The play was fine, at least it seemed the kids were most excited to get candy at intermission.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards, we met some friends and the kids went ice skating. Emma is now big enough to not need parental guidance, we could rely on the older kids instead.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Monday 12 November 2018<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After many months of inactivity, a crew of workers came and stripped all the gunk off the building that burned. All that remained were two concrete slab floors, and the siding frame on one side.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday 13 November 2018<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bjarki was doing math homework this evening, and we found a good use for the book-stand my grandma gave us years ago.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

That afternoon, Bjarki and I drove to Akranes in crappy weather so that he could participate in a team-gymnastics meet.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sunday 18 November 2018<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We began Sunday by me driving Finnur, dad and Shirley to the Keflavik airport, as Finnur would be working in London that week, and staying with them.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I spent the afternoon helping my oldest brother and family fit better into their new apartment by assembling Ikea furniture. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

It’s not a big apartment, but it’s well designed so they get a lot of use out of it.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
